Energy Ski's founder, Jérôme, is fluent in English, has spent a lot of time in the UK, has strong connections there and has an English wife; Jérôme understands the importance of fluent English speaking instruction, he can guarantee that the combination of the French skiing qualification, a sense of humour, and our innovative teaching methods in fluent English will give you the very best lessons possible. Jérôme has also passed the BASI ski qualification (as a dare from a fellow instructor!) so can really bring you the benefits from two very different teaching systems.

At Energy Ski we believe that the instructor qualification is a good starting point, but we require that all of our instructors must have extensive coaching/teaching experience to consolidate their qualifications. For example: A summary of Jérôme's CV: having started as a ski club coach at the age of 28, over the past 10 years, has trained more than 900 ski instructors to pass the Eurotest (the European recognised technical exam required to become a ski instructor in France) as well as giving more traditional ski lessons during the season.
